Editorial policy

The current guides and recipes are editorial drafts created to test the design and publishing workflow. They are blocked from search indexing and cannot become public health guidance until their claims, sources, authorship, and required reviews are complete.

• A real, accountable author must be assigned and shown publicly.
• A real qualified reviewer must be assigned where the topic requires one.
• Each factual claim must be checked against the direct official sources listed on the page.
• Publication and last-reviewed dates will appear only after those events actually occur.

• We never say a food, recipe, or ingredient is safe or unsafe for everyone with kidney disease.
• We never publish nutrient or fluid targets as if they applied to all readers.
• We never claim that anything on this site can cure, reverse, or change the course of kidney disease.
• We never interpret laboratory results, imaging, or medicine doses.

Food and kitchen guidance will require review by an appropriately qualified renal dietitian. Tests, treatment, monitoring, and medicine-related claims will require a reviewer whose credentials match that scope. No prototype page currently claims that review has happened.

A visible last-reviewed date will be added only after a substantive source and clinical check, and will not be changed merely to make content look fresh.

If something is wrong, unclear, or reads like personal medical direction, tell us at corrections@kidneydaily.com. Substantive corrections are noted on the page itself.

Daily Kidney Guide is owned by the maker of the Kidney Daily Android app and is intended to promote that app. That conflict must be disclosed wherever an app call to action appears.

Any future sponsorship, affiliate relationship, expert payment, free product, or other material connection must be disclosed on the relevant page before publication.
