1. Using Kidney Daily

By using Kidney Daily, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Kidney Daily is an Android app for recording meals, fluids, nutrients, vitals, medicines, appointments, notes, reminders, and records, and preparing information to share with your care team.

Features vary by version, region, device, and availability. Terms for accounts, AI food analysis, local backup and restore, and membership apply where those features are offered. Website images may preview an upcoming app release. An iOS version is in development; no iOS availability date is promised.

2. Medical disclaimer

Kidney Daily is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication dosing, clinical interpretation, or emergency guidance. It is a personal tracking and organization tool, not a substitute for your licensed care team.

Do not delay professional care because of app content or an estimate. Discuss dietary and fluid targets, medications, symptoms, and treatment decisions with your clinician or renal dietitian. No food, recipe, nutrient target, or fluid amount is suitable for every person with chronic kidney disease. For an emergency, contact local emergency services.

3. Eligibility and responsibilities

Kidney Daily is intended for adults aged 18 or older and adult caregivers. You are responsible for lawful use, the information you enter, and permission to handle another person’s information.

• Keep your device, account credentials, exported records, and backups secure.
• Check entries, estimates, portions, units, targets, and exports before saving or sharing.
• Do not impersonate another person, bypass access or usage controls, disrupt the service, upload malicious material, or violate another person’s rights.
• Do not use Kidney Daily as your sole record of time-critical care or rely on it to deliver emergency or medication instructions.

4. Local records, reminders, and backups

Core tracking is local and can be used without an account. Signing in does not synchronize your diary or create cloud backup. You are responsible for keeping copies you need before clearing storage, uninstalling, changing devices, or restoring a backup.

Where available, restoring a .kdbak backup replaces portable diary data, targets, and preferences after validation and confirmation. Exported PDFs and backups are not encrypted by Kidney Daily. Other apps and recipients control copies you choose to share.

Reminders depend on Android permissions, battery settings, device operation, and other system conditions. Delivery is not guaranteed. They support routine organization and are not an emergency, dosing, or adherence-monitoring service.

5. Optional AI food analysis

When available, you can choose to submit text or a photo for connected analysis. This requires internet access, consent, account authorization, and any applicable usage allowance or membership. Our current Android service sends food details through Supabase directly to Google Gemini, as described in the Privacy Policy and in-app disclosure. OpenRouter is supported in the software but is not used by the current production configuration.

AI produces an editable draft. It may misunderstand a food, photo, portion, or brand and may return incorrect or incomplete nutrients. Review and correct the draft before saving. Unknown values are not zero. An estimate is not a dietary recommendation or a statement that a food is safe for you.

The app displays applicable access and usage limits. Submitted attempts may count even when an analysis is unsuccessful. Limits, providers, and availability can change, subject to applicable law and subscription obligations. Manual entry and saved local records do not depend on a successful AI response.

6. Optional Plus subscriptions

Where Plus is offered, Google Play displays the price, currency, billing period, included access, and any eligible trial or introductory offer before purchase. Offers are not guaranteed. A subscription renews automatically for its displayed period unless canceled in accordance with the store’s terms. An eligible trial may convert to a paid subscription as shown before purchase.

Google Play processes payments and handles cancellation and refunds under its policies and applicable law. RevenueCat manages membership and purchase status. Kidney Daily does not receive payment-card details.

Cancel in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Kidney Daily. Uninstalling or deleting an app account does not cancel billing. Restoring a purchase, where available, restores eligible access; it does not restore your diary.

7. Privacy and your content

The Privacy Policy at kidneydaily.com/privacy explains information processing, providers, choices, and deletion. You retain your rights in the records and other content you provide. Submitting content to a connected feature permits processing needed to provide that feature under the Privacy Policy and your choices; it does not transfer ownership of your diary to us.

Do not submit content you lack permission to use. Share only what you intend, and review the destination’s practices when exporting or sending a file.

8. Intellectual property and third parties

The app, website, original design, graphics, code, and documentation belong to Fied Labs Inc. or are used under license. Third-party and open-data material retains its applicable license and attribution requirements. You may use the app and guides for personal purposes. You may not sell, republish, or remove attribution from our material without permission, except where the law or an applicable license allows it.

Google Play, authentication services, AI providers, and apps you share with have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control independent websites or recipients’ copies. This does not exclude responsibilities we have for providers processing information on our behalf.

9. Availability and warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kidney Daily is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free software, successful reminders, or complete and accurate food, source, or AI information. Do not rely on the service for a medical purpose.

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fied Labs Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, Kidney Daily. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by applicable law and does not remove mandatory consumer protections.

11. Changes and ending use

We may update these terms or modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law and subscription obligations. We will date changes and provide any required notice. You may stop using the app, cancel subscriptions through Google Play, and request account deletion at kidneydaily.com/account-deletion. Deleting an account and removing local files are separate steps.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law applies. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
