By accessing or using the Kidney Daily Website or App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

The Website is a daily-living publication with educational guides, original website recipes, organizational tools, email publications, and information about the App. The App is a local-first Android app for kidney routine organization and care-team preparation. The current public App helps users organize food and water logs, medication check-ins, symptoms, vitals, notes, reminders, Records/Labs PDFs, recipes, and Doctor Export files.

App capabilities can differ by version and availability. Optional account, membership, and connected-feature terms apply only where those features are displayed and available in the version you use.

KIDNEY DAILY IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, EMERGENCY GUIDANCE, MEDICATION DOSING GUIDANCE, OR CLINICAL ADVICE.

Kidney Daily is for education, organization, and preparation only. It does not replace a licensed care team. Review health records, targets, symptoms, food notes, medication routines, and care decisions with your licensed care team.

Do not delay or avoid professional care because of something on the Website or in the App. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call local emergency services immediately.

Kidney Daily is intended for adults 18 years of age or older and caregivers who use it to help organize kidney-care routines. The Website and App are not directed to children or teens.

Website guides, recipes, newsletters, and tools are general educational or organizational resources. They are not individualized recommendations. Content may be incomplete, become outdated, or not apply to your circumstances. Publication, review, and update dates describe our editorial process; they do not guarantee accuracy or clinical suitability.

Interactive worksheets and checklists are provided for your own organization. You are responsible for reviewing anything you create or print and deciding what to share with your care team. Do not use them for an emergency or as a substitute for clinical records or instructions.

The current public Android 1.0 release does not require an account. Where optional sign-in is offered, it may be used for account access, purchase restore, and Kidney Daily Plus membership. Website reader accounts are not currently offered; private Website accounts are limited to authorized publication staff.

Existing local health logs, vitals, notes, reminders, Records/Labs PDFs, recipes, and exports remain on your device unless you deliberately use a connected feature or another action described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, credentials, local exports, and backups. Do not attempt to access the private content-management system or another person's account without authorization.

Where Kidney Daily Plus is offered, optional monthly and annual subscriptions are purchased through Google Play. Prices, billing periods, eligibility, and final offers are displayed by Google Play before purchase. Each plan renews automatically for its displayed billing period until cancelled.

Google Play may display a seven-day introductory trial for eligible new subscribers to the annual plan. Eligibility is not guaranteed. When offered, the trial converts to the paid annual subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

RevenueCat manages entitlement status and purchase-lifecycle events. Google Play handles payment processing, subscription charges, cancellation, and refunds. Kidney Daily does not receive or store payment-card details.

You can cancel Kidney Daily Plus through Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not delete your Kidney Daily account or local records. Refunds are handled according to Google Play policies. Where available, Restore purchases is provided in the App settings.

Where Connected AI Food is offered, it is an optional text-analysis feature. Signed-in free accounts may make up to 20 text-analysis requests per UTC calendar month. Each submitted connected attempt can count toward this limit, including a retry or a request submitted after answering clarification questions, even when it does not return a usable food draft. Local or manual food logging does not count.

Connected features remain subject to availability, abuse prevention, and reasonable service limits. Current connected text analysis uses Supabase and Google Gemini to create editable, AI-estimated food and nutrient drafts. Automatic source research is disabled; connected text requests are not sent to Exa, the Canadian Nutrient File, USDA FoodData Central, or OpenRouter.

Google Gemini creates an editable draft from the meal text and confirmed context. Results are AI-generated estimates, not source-backed facts, and may be wrong, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. Unknown nutrients remain unknown. You are responsible for reviewing the food identity, serving, and nutrient values before saving.

Connected AI Food does not tell you what to eat, diagnose or treat a condition, provide medication or emergency guidance, or state that a food is safe for kidney disease or any other condition. Review dietary targets and decisions with your licensed care team.

Kidney Daily may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue a connected feature when authorization, provider terms, availability, safety, privacy, abuse prevention, or store requirements are not met. Local manual logging and previously saved local records remain available independently of connected-feature availability, subject to the normal limits of local App storage.

• Use Kidney Daily only for lawful personal education, organization, and care-team preparation.
• Review connected drafts, Website content, worksheet output, and information you enter before relying on them for organization or sharing them.
• Do not rely on Kidney Daily for medical decisions, diagnosis, treatment, emergency guidance, medication dosing guidance, or clinical advice.
• Consult your licensed care team before making changes to diet, medications, care routines, or treatment plans.
• Maintain the security of your device and any account credentials, exports, and backups.
• Do not interfere with the services, bypass access controls, upload malicious code, scrape the Website in a way that disrupts service, impersonate another person, or use the services to violate another person's rights.

If you subscribe to Kidney Daily email, you authorize us to send the publication or product updates you requested. You can unsubscribe using the link in a message or by contacting us. Transactional, security, or support messages may still be sent when necessary to respond to a request or administer an account.

Use of the services is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains Website processing, local-first App storage, optional sign-in and membership, connected features, service providers, retention, and deletion.

The Website and App, including their design, features, original articles, original website recipes, App recipes, code, graphics, worksheets, and documentation, are owned by Fied Labs Inc. or used with permission and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Website recipes are separate from the App recipe library. Third-party and open-data content remains subject to its applicable source and licence terms.

You may print or save Website worksheets and reasonable excerpts for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, sell, remove attribution from, or create a competing content database from Kidney Daily material without written permission, except where applicable law allows otherwise.

Recipe ideas, food notes, nutrition values, source information, and Connected AI Food drafts are for informational, planning, and awareness purposes only. They are not food recommendations, diet prescriptions, or medical advice. No recipe is suitable or safe for every person with chronic kidney disease. Personal dietary targets must come from your licensed care team.

Nutrition information may be estimated and can vary with brands, portions, substitutions, preparation, and data sources. Unknown values must not be treated as zero. Check labels and discuss your personal needs with a qualified clinician or renal dietitian.

Kidney Daily may link to Google Play, source material, or other third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily mean endorsement.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE WEBSITE AND APP ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THEY WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT, TOOLS, CONNECTED PROVIDERS, SOURCES, OR AI-GENERATED DRAFTS WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, AVAILABLE, OR RELIABLE FOR ANY MEDICAL PURPOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FIED LABS INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE WEBSITE OR APP.

We may update these Terms or modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue the Website, App, or a connected feature. You may stop using the services, unsubscribe from email, and uninstall the App at any time. Updated Terms are effective when posted, subject to applicable law and any notice required by Google Play for subscription changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law applies.
