About

Medical review

Current prototype content has not received clinical or nutrition review. No reviewer is named until a real qualified person has agreed to the work and their identity and scope can be verified.

Current prototype status

All health guides and recipe concepts are editorial drafts. They remain blocked from search indexing and must not be represented as reviewed or ready to publish.

Who must review what before publication

  • Food, labels, and recipe framing require an appropriately qualified renal dietitian.
  • Tests, treatment, monitoring, and medicine-related claims require a qualified clinician with relevant nephrology expertise; medicine-specific material may also require a pharmacist.
  • Caregiver material requires an additional consent, tone, and workload review by a suitable caregiver or lived-experience reviewer.

What future reviewers must check

  • No universal targets, and no language implying a food suits everyone.
  • No interpretation of laboratory values.
  • No suggestion to start, stop, or change a medicine or supplement.
  • Clear signposting back to the reader's own care team.

What review does not mean

Even after qualified review, a guide is general education. It will not be checked against a reader's labs, medicines, treatment, or other conditions, and it will not create a clinician-patient relationship.
